Join us for our August screening of Mary Harron’s American Psycho (2000) with guest intro by Nik McGrath.
A decade after Bret Easton Ellis’ book was published American Psycho was released in cinemas. Screenplay by Mary Harron and Guinevere Turner, and directed by Harron. Set in 1980s New York, it highlights a shallow, vain and narcissistic world of investment bankers, and the hollow entrapment of their lives. The cut-throat lifestyle attracts sociopaths, and masks a serial killer in their circle.
The start time is 7:30pm in the cinema room, but please come along early to sort out your membership and grab a drink from the bar. Our screenings have been very busy of late, so it's definitely a good idea to get in and get your seat to ensure that you don't miss out. Regular members generally start arriving from 6pm.
Memberships will be available to purchase with cash on the night for $20 for three screenings or $60 for twelve screenings.
